Santa Maria Choir
With praise and thanksgiving to God, the present-day Santa Maria Choir's inception into the music ministry in Blessed Sacrament Church was led by Brother Oliveiro in 1972. With humble beginnings, it was known as the "Guitar Mass" choir, as guitars were the only instruments that the choir used at that time.
Three years after its simple beginning, the keyboard was introduced and a new choir name was needed. Historically, choir members comprised Christian and non-Christian teenagers between 15 and 20 years old.
