The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process of growing in faith in Christ and His Church, for adults. By following the RCIA, you will be led through a process of enrichment by the priest and local community.
Read a personal sharing by Sharon Goh on her RCIA experience in her journey to be a Catholic here. Texas Paul Hong shares about how his faith in God mysteriously grew despite his initial faith in science and technology in his testimony here. Pauline Pook reminisces how she was touched during her brother's funeral and how God called her "In His Time" here.
Our next RCIA will commence on 15 April 2010 and sessions will be conducted on every Thursday between 7.30pm to 9pm.
The RCIA consists of various stages by which you are being prepared to receive the Sacraments of Initiation i.e. Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.
The RCIA sessions will be approximately 11 months. Activities include Bible Session on the first Sunday of the month after attending the 10.30 am Mass with the sponsors.
RCIA does not only seek to impart knowledge but to facilitate an experience of God. Knowledge is necessary, but an experience of God and a change of heart is far more important.
Some of the topics include: The Bible, The Sacraments, The Ten Commandments, Church History, Doctrines, Morality, Prayers, Mary, etc
"COME, FOLLOW US, ALONG THE WAY OF THE LORD"
